Lego Robotics

CIEC is the LEGO Educational Products distributor in Brunei. We had conducted a series of workshops in Brunei on the use of Lego in Education to encourage young children to have the enquiring attitude and be innovative. We also conduct teacher professional programmes on the use of Info-Communication Technology across the curriculum.

Lego Robotics lets you design and program real robots that do what you want them to. Combining Lego pieces and Lego technics parts, students are able to construct moving objects such as cars, windmill and solar energy with the help of software programming

In this programme, we provide opportunities to allow students to explore the concept of energy, electricity, and environment. Using LEGO models, students are provided with a safe, hands-on learning environment in which they investigate the world of energy and renewable resources.

It also allows students to discover the different types of energy resources that can be use to generate and transfer power. Activities includes transferring solar energy using the Lego solar cell to power a model solar car or watching wind and/or water energy in action by creating windmill or watermill to power up a lamp.
