CIEC had conducted a series of workshops in Brunei on the use of Robotics in Education to encourage young children to have the enquiring attitude and be innovative. We also conduct teacher professional programmes on the use of Info-Communication Technology across the curriculum.
In this programme, we provide opportunities to allow students to explore the concept of energy, electricity, and environment. Using robotic models, students are provided with a safe, hands-on learning environment in which they investigate the world of energy and renewable resources. It also allows students to discover the different types of energy resources that can be use to generate and transfer power. Activities includes transferring solar energy using the solar cell to power a model robotic solar car or watching wind and/or water energy in action by creating windmill or watermill to power up a lamp.
